“ Quite large place, wasn't crowded when we arrived around 18:00. We got served an appetizer at first for free - bread, local butter and olive thing Food came quite quick. Pizza was hot and delicious. And nachos plate was huge and tasty. Coffee and tea was included with all meals, self-service, which is very cool. We also got dessert - Skyrcake which was absolutely amazing! We enjoyed the place very much! ”

“ After staying in the Myvatn area for a couple of days, you’ll likely exhaust all of the food options in the area. Bistro Sel was the last place that we tried in the area and it was probably the best. We got their prawn and chili pizza and their smoked trout pizza. Both were very tasty with a good amount of toppings. Easily the best pizza I had in the country. I also tried their rye bread IPA that they brew onsite. Again, easily the best beer that I had in Iceland. Beer is a bit pricy as expected, but worth it. The pizzas were a good price for the size. I can’t recommend this place enough. I really hope their brewery grows and is able to start exporting to other countries. ”

“ Nice meal with friendly staff. They serve the bread with homemade butter and sauce as appetizer ，further more，hot coffee and hot tea,make us feel warm . We had deep fried chicken and lamb fillet for dinner,the lamb is very soft and the taste is good.chicken is also nice. It’s really worth to enjoy the food here. ”

“ Very busy tonight, we were lucky to get the last table for 2. The menu was a mixture of main course, pizza and a buffet. I had the lamb pork chops which were done perfectly. The cheese baked potato was a bit dry, but still good. The homemade blueberry icecream and the coffee chocolate icecream were very good and if you have room for dessert, I highly recommend either of them. The local IPA brewed on site was also quite good. ”

There are some good vegetarian options as well on the menu, and the restaurant has a decent collection of craft beers that they brew. Overall, a great option in an area where options are quite limited. ”

“ Best dinner we had in days! More than just burgers, lamb stew and pizza. Varied menu and the most affordable prices around. We had a great meal of vegetable lasagna with garlic bread and salad, and shrimp and scallops with garlic bread and salad, along with the complimentary bread with butter and olive tape adequately. The dinners were fresh, hot and delicious and service was great as well. We paid a lot more for a lot worse meals and were very pleased with this experience. Would highly recommend. ”

Prices were good for Iceland standards for such a great meal. Portions were good size. We had Vegetable Lasagna, Shrimp and scallops and a Zero alcohol beer for equivalent of $72 USD. I would highly recommend this restaurant. ”
